CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- For the week ending February 3, Vermont's Aaron Campbell and Albany's Zuliana Fontanez took home the America East men's and women's track Performers of the Week. In the field events, Albany's Freddie Wills and Boston U.'s Tahari James won their events and the America East men's and women's field Performers of the Week.
Campbell (Bend, Ore./Summit) a recent transfer from the University of Oregon, set a new school record in the 60 meters at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic on Saturday. Campbell posted a time of 7:04 to finish second overall. His time broke the old mark set in 2006 by eight-tenths of a second.
Fontanez (Dorado, P.R./American Military Academy/Interamericana) finished seventh in the 500-meter dash in her season-best and conference-best time of 1:17.06 at Yale's Giegengack Invitational on Saturday. She was also a member of the fifth-place distance medley relay team and sixth-place 4x400-meter relay team.
Wills (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) won the heptathlon with an IC4A-qualifying total of 5,029 points to set the school record in the event at the Syracuse Invitational. The record was previously 4,914 points, set by David Parker at last year's America East Championship. Wills' total is the second-highest in the conference this season.
James (Branford, Conn./Branford) placed first in both the long jump (6.02m) and the triple jump (12.66m) at the Battle of Beantown Saturday at Harvard's Gordon Track. Both jumps are tops in America East this season. James also placed third in the 60m dash in a time of 7.72 seconds.

Jean Juste broke the 60-meter hurdle record and Luke Schoen set the pole vault

Boston University Terriers
The Boston University men's and women's track teams both took second place at
the first-ever Battle of Beantown at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track. Senior Tahari James and sophomore Whitney Ford finished first
and second, respectively, in the long jump and triple jump, while freshman Joel Senick finished first in

Hartford Hawks
The University of Hartford men’s and women’s track and field
teams continued their indoor season at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Both teams saw a pair of school records go down, while the men saw a pair of
first place finishes from Anthony

Maine Black Bears
The University of Maine men's track and field team finished third in the UMaine
Open on Saturday. They competed against the College of Holy Cross and Central

University of Maine sophomore Lauren Forgues recently
competed and medaled in the oldest continuously contested indoor track and field
competition in the US, the 101st Millrose Games. In the National USATF one mile
Racewalk Championship on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, Forgues walked

UMBC Retrievers
The Retrievers did not compete last week. UMBC's next meet will be the Armory Invitational in New York, N.Y. on February 8-9.
New Hampshire Wildcats
Senior captain Rebecca Haley (Dover, N.H.) was one of four
athletes to win an event for the University of New Hampshire women’s indoor
track and field team as they placed second at the University of Rhode Island
