CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Vermont sophomore guard Courtnay Pilypaitis (Ottawa, Ontario/St. Peter) earned her fifth America East Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor for the week ending February 24 by averaging a double-double and nearly capturing her second triple-double in four games. New Hampshire freshman forward Denise Beliveau (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) also picked up her fifth award of the season by snagging the Rookie of the Week award in a very competitive week amongst the freshmen. In a 2-0 week, Pilypaitis averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She also averaged 7.0 assists and three steals while shooting 87% from the foul line (20-for-23). The sophomore scored a team-high 19 points in a come-from-behind win at UNH and added six rebounds and five assists. In a win over Boston U., Pilypaitis just missed a triple double with 17 points, a career and conference-high 17 rebounds and nine assists. During the Catamounts' five-game win streak, she is averaging 17.0 ppg, 10.4 rpg and shooting 90% from the stripe. This is Pilypaitis' second straight weekly award.
The rookie averaged 15.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 3.0 spg last week in two games, while shooting 48% from the field and 5-for-12 from beyond the three-point arc. Earlier in the week, Beliveau went 5-for-7 from the field for 13 first-half points against Vermont en route to a 15-point effort. The forward also swiped away four steals and pulled down seven boards in 39 minutes of action. Beliveau delivered 11 second-half points against UMBC and was the only Wildcat to post in double-figures, totaling 16 points in the game. She also pulled down a game-high seven rebounds in the game.

The Great Danes completed the season sweep of the Seawolves for the first time since both New York teams joined America East... Senior Kristin Higy netted 17 points, while classmate Gia Sanders recorded four rebounds, six points and three swatted shots... Rookie Janea Aiken also finished with a solid stat line of 13 points, eight boards and two assists... Three Seawolves broke double-digit points, including senior Dana Ferraro who posted 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Bearcat senior Laine Kurpniece posted a 21-point performance to lead four teammates in double figures... Fellow senior Laura Sario chipped in 12 points and four assists... Binghamton finished with 11 thefts and forced the Black Bears into 27 turnovers... Junior Colleen Kilmurray led the Black Bears with 16 points... Christina Mosher tied the game high with eight rebounds... Maine outrebounded Binghamton, 34-30.

Sophomore Courtnay Pilypaitis finished one assist shy of her second triple-double this season, recording 17 points, a conference-best 17 rebounds and nine assists... Cerniglia leads the Wildcats with 12.0 ppg, while junior Jesyka Burks-Wiley averages a Terrier team-high 13.6 ppg.
* Vermont at Maine 7:30 p.m.The Catamounts, winners of five straight, secured a 20 point victory over the Black Bears earlier this season... Three Catamounts are averaging in double-figures and are in the top six among the conference's scorers... Maine has kept opponents off the glass better than any other team in the league, holding them to 33.8 rpg, and has the second-best rebounding margin of +2.3.
