BURLINGTON, Vt.-- The
America East Television schedule continues when Vermont hosts Albany
on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of the last two America East Championship title games.
The game
will be shown on Comcast Sports Net in New England and Fox Sports New
York throughout the Empire State. The game will also be available on
ESPN's Full Court package and be streamed online in the America East
Zone at AmericaEast.com. Eric Frede (play-by-play) and Frank Sullivan
(color) will have the call. The game is part of a comprehensive television package to be produced by
America East and distributed to regional sports networks.
The Great Danes (11-12, America East 7-3) have won back-to-back games against the Catamounts, including a 60-59 triumph in last year's America East Championship title game at Patrick Gym. Albany also took this season's first meeting, 80-79 in overtime, behind 29 points, seven rebounds and seven assists from senior guard Brian Lillis. The Catamounts (12-10, America East 7-3) have won five of their last six games and sit alone in second place in the league standings. Sophomore Marqus Blakely leads the conference in points (19.0), rebounds (9.6) and blocks per game (2.7).
