Maine 77, Northern Illinois 64 (100 Club Classic - Kennesaw, Ga.)

Gerald McLemore made 6-of-9 three-pointers and scored 24 points in his debut to lead the Black Bears over the Huskies... Maine shot 52 percent from the floor and held NIU to a 38 percent clip.

at Stony Brook 60, Maryland Eastern Shore 44

Tommie Brenton scored eight points and grabbed 16 rebounds, including six on the offensive end to lead the Seawolves over UMES... Danny Carter led three players in double figures with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting... Demetrius Young and Brian Dougher each added 10.

George Washington 63, at Boston University 58 (OT)
The Colonials scored 12 of the game's final 14 points to overcome a five-point deficit in overtime and down the Colonials for the third straight year...  Rob Diggs led GW with 12 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks... John Holland paced Boston U. with 22 points... Carlos Strong added 14 off the bench.

Quinnipiac 63, at Hartford 62 (NESN)

DeAndre’ Bynum canned a three from the right corner with 58 seconds left that broke a 60-60 tie and gave the Bobcats the win... Michael Turner scored a team-high 15 points for the Hawks and added seven boards... Jaret von Rosenberg had 10 points and six assists.

at No. 23/25 Villanova 78, Albany 60

Scottie Reynolds led six players in twin figures and the Wildcats built an 18-point first half lead and never lost it... Will Harris and Anthony Raff each scored 13 points in their Albany debuts.

George Mason at Vermont, 1 p.m.

Vermont hosts Colonial power George Mason at Patrick Gym... The Catamounts were picked second in the America East preseason poll... Reigning Player of the Year Marqus Blakely (19.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg) and three-time all-conference performer Mike Trimboli (1,406 career points) lead the 'Cats.

Stevenson at UMBC, 7:05 p.m.
The Retrievers will unveil their 2008 championship banner prior to the game... UMBC won a school record 24 games, its first America East title and made its first trip to the NCAA tournament last season... First-team all-conference performers Jay Greene (8.8 ppg, 7.2 apg) and Darryl Proctor (15.1 ppg, 8.4 rpg) return.

Maine at Kennesaw State, 7:30 p.m. (100 Club Classic)

The Blacks face the Owls in the championship game of the 100 Club Classic... Maine knocked off Northern Illinois in its opener, while Kennesaw State defeated Western Illinois.
