Colin Cunningham hit a jumper with 22 seconds remaining and the Crusaders converted 5-of-6 free throw attempts in the final second to hang on for the win... Boston University's Corey Lowe scored a game-high 20 points, including 14 in the second half... Carlos Strong added 18 points, six assists and five rebounds... Scott Brittain contributed 15 points and eight boards.

at Colgate 70, Maine 62
The Red Raiders shot 52 percent in the first half and outscored the Black Bears 33-26 in the frame en route to the win... Mark Socoby led Maine with a game-high 22 points... Junior Bernal poured in 18.

at Canisius 81, Maine 70

The Golden Griffins shot 55 percent from the floor in the first half and canned six three-pointers... Kaimondre Owes came off the bench to score a team-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting for the Black Bears... Mark Socoby scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half.

Sunday, December 30
at Binghamton 64, St. Bonaventure 59
The Bearcats converted all eight of their free throws down the stretch to hold off a late charge from the Bonnies... Lazar Trifunovic scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds... Mike Gordon added 14.

Colgate 49, at New Hampshire 46
Alex Woodhouse's layup with 17:10 remaining broke a 31-31 tie and sparked a 12-4 Red Raider run... Eric Gilchrese scored a team-high 14 points... Alvin Abreu added 13.

at Iowa State 76, Albany 64
The Cyclones went on a 20-3 run to start the second half... The Great Dane's Brent Wilson scored 12 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and grabbed eight rebounds.

at Virginia 78, Hartford 70
The Cavaliers shot 52 percent from the field in the first half and outscored the Hawks 41-28 in the frame... Hartford's Jaret Von Rosenberg scored 15 points, dished out five assists and had three steals... Joe Zeglinski also scored 15... Kevin Estes added 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

at Vermont 84, Central Connecticut 63

The Catamounts shot 63 percent from the floor in the win over the Blue Devils... America East leading scorer Mike Trimboli scored a game-high 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting and handed out seven assists.

Thursday, January 3
*Albany at New Hampshire, 7 p.m.

The two-time defending conference champion Great Danes have won four straight matchups with the Wildcats, including a 64-47 victory in the quarterfinals of the 2006 America East Championship.

*UMBC at Stony Brook, 7 p.m.

America East's top scoring offense and defense face off in the conference opener for both teams... The Retrievers pour in 76.8 points per game and have four players averaging at least 13 points per game... The Seawolves allow just 66.1 points per contest.

*Binghamton at Vermont, 7 p.m.
Lazar Trifunovic has led the Bearcats to three wins in their last four games by averaging 21.3 points and 9.0 rebounds over that span... The Catamounts, who have won back-to-back games, shot 63 percent from the field in their win over Central Connecticut on Saturday.

Saturday, January 5
Yale at Hartford, 7 p.m.
The Hawks return home where they are 3-1 this season... Joe Zeglinksi ranks eighth in the league averaging 14.3 points per game.
