Sophomore May Kotsopoulos hit a career-high 24 points for Vermont, while classmate Courtnay Pilypaitis posted 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists... Despite fouling out, Wildcat Candace Williams finished with 13 points and eight rebounds.... Rookie Denise Beliveau scored a team-high 18 points for New Hampshire.

Two Blacks Bears surpassed or tied their career highs... Freshman Tanna Ross scored a career-high-tying 22 points, while senior Kris Younan netted 18 points... Maine went 33-of-40 from the charity stripe (82.5%)... Three Terriers scored in double-digits led by junior Jesyka Burks-Wiley's 19 points... The game featured 20 lead changes and 12 ties.

* UMBC 56, at Albany 55
Both teams combined to shoot 47% from the field in the first half... Retriever senior Kristin Drabyn scored a game-high 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while sophomore Carlee Cassidy netted 19 points... Senior Sherri Mikus posted a double-double for the Great Danes with team highs of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
* at Hartford 62, Binghamton 45 (CSN/WIVT)
Bearcat senior Laine Kurpniece drained her 1,000th career point on her first of four field goals on the night... Hartford sophomore Erica Beverly scored a game-high 16 points and brought down 11 rebounds for her third double-double in conference play this season... Junior Katie Kelley (13), senior Danielle Hood (13), and sophomore Diana Delva (12) also reached double digit points for the Hawks.
Sunday, January 20
* at Vermont 65, UMBC 55
Catamount Kelli Poles pieced together a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds... Sophomores May Kotsopoulos (18 points, three assists, two steals) and Courtnay Pilypaitis (14 points, eight assists, seven rebounds) led Vermont.... Retriever senior Kristin Drabyn moved into second on the school's three-pointer list as she netted five from long distance to account for all 15 of her team-high points.

Opponents only shoot .253 from beyond the arc against the Terriers, best in the league, while the Wildcats are the hottest three-point shooting squad in the conference (.351).

The Catamounts are 3-0 on the current four-game homestand, while the Black Bears have only won two road games this season.... Sophomore May Kotsopoulos is averaging 16 points per game and shooting over 46% during the Vermont homestand.

The Great Danes average 11.50 steals per game (over 13 spg in conference games), while the Hawks hang onto the ball very well, committing just 14.3 turnovers per game and ranking in the top-20 among Division I schools.
