VESTAL, N.Y.-- Opening night at the state-of-the-art
Bearcat Sports Complex is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. when
the Binghamton women's soccer team hosts Syracuse. The $5 million
project which will serve as the new home for men's and women's
soccer and lacrosse teams.
The Bearcat Sports Complex includes a pair of synthetic turf
field, one for games and one designed for practices. Both field
will be 120x75 in length. The seating capacity at the playing
field will will 2,534 while the practice field will have seating
for 1,000. Both field will have lighting designed for night games
and practices. The game field will have a press box and there
will be a concession building with restrooms between the two
fields.
