Fifteen America East Women's Lacrosse Players Honored By IWLCA

Fifteen America East women's lacrosse players were named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association (IWLCA) 2007 Academic Honor Roll. In all, the IWLCA recognized 410 student-athletes for achieving success in the classroom. Students from 157 institutions were honored,including members of all three national championship squads.

In Division I, 157 women from 57 schools were honored, including 2007 IWLCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year Lindsay Pieper from Virginia Tech. Three schools claimed six recipients, including national champion Northwestern along with Albany and Sacred Heart. Seven of the honorees also earned All-America honors, including Goalie of the Year Sarah Waxman from Penn.
