Three America East Baseball Players Named to NECBL All-Star Game

Maine's Curt Smith, Stony Brook's Gary Novakowski and Vermont's Joe Serafin have all been selected to participate in the 2007 New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game held on Sunday, July 22 at Joe Wolfe Field in North Adams, Mass. The NECBL announced its All-Star teams on Monday.

Smith, who plays for the Vermont Mountaineers, will start for the North Division as a designated hitter.

Novakowski, a member of the Torrington (Conn.) Twisters, has been named the starter for the South Division.

Serfin, also a hurler for the Twisters, will also pitch for the South Division.
