Three America East Track & Field Athletes Qualify for NCAA Championship Finals on Day One

Sacramento, Calif. -- University at Albany’s Marc Pallozzi (javelin), Binghamton's Rory Quiller (pole vault) and New Hampshire's Cathy Parker (stepplechase) have advanced to the finals at the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, June 6 at California State University, Sacramento’s A.G. Spanos Sports Complex. 

Pallozzi reached the final round for the second straight year with a throw of 216-feet, 2-inches. He will compete in the finals on Friday evening.

Quiller qualified for the finals by finishing in a second-place tie in flight two. He cleared 5.15 meters. Quiller will compete in the finals on Friday evening.

Parker finished eighth in the first heat and became one of 14 runners to qualify for the final, which will be run on Friday at 7:25 p.m. WST.
