Men’s Tennis
? UMBC won its first America East Men’s Tennis Championship with a 4-1 win over Stony Brook at New Haven, Conn. The Retrievers’ David Jackson was named Most Outstanding Performer after his 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) win at No. 3 singles clinched the title.

? UMBC made its first appearance since 2000 in the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship where it dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 14 Duke at Durham, N.C.

Women’s Tennis
? Boston University won its 14th America East Women’s Tennis Championship in as many tries with a 4-0 win over UMBC. Cori Lefkowith was named the Most Outstanding Performer.

? Boston University made its ninth-consecutive trip to the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship, where the Terriers dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 8 USC at Los Angeles. Only 19 Division I programs have longer active streaks of consecutive NCAA appearances. Of those, only Boston University, Fresno State and Pepperdine hail from non-BCS conferences.
