Men’s Golf
? Zack Ungvarsky drained a 25-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a sudden death playoff to lead Hartford to its second-consecutive America East Men’s Golf Championship and 12th title overall. Ungvarsky carded a 71 on the second day of the 36-hole event, to help Hartford erase a 9-stroke deficit and force the playoff with Binghamton.

? Aaron Ungvarsky of Binghamton, who aced the 233-yard, par-3 sixth hole at the Links in Hiawatha in Appalachin, N.Y., earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 143, which tied the conference mark for lowest 36-hole score.

? Hartford earned a bid to the NCAA Men’s Golf East Regional at Alpharetta, Ga., where the Hawks shot a three-day total of 304 to finish tied for 24th. Maki Kobayashi carded a three-under 69 in the final round for a three-round total of 226 to finish tied for 66th in the field of 135.  

Women’s Golf
? Lauren Stong carded a 163, the best two-day total in conference history, to earn medalist honors and lead Boston University to its second-straight America East Women’s Golf Championship at the Links in Hiawatha in Appalachin, N.Y. Stong’s 79 on the second day was the only sub-80 round of the two-day event.
