Vermont's Bryan Rembisz and Binghamton's Zach Groh are nominees for the 2007 Roger Clemens Award given to college baseball's national pitcher of the year. The watch list of 104 nominees was announced last week.
The fourth annual award is named after Clemens, a former University of Texas All-American pitcher who went on to win seven Cy Young Awards in the major leagues and is sponsored by the Greater Houston Baseball Association. Later this month, 10 finalists will be named from the watch list with the winner announced at a dinner in Houston on July 11.
