The 2007 America East Women's Lacrosse Championship gets underway today with two semifinal contests at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, N.Y.
The top-seeded Seawolves will take on No. 4 Albany in the first semifinal contest at 4 p.m. Two-time defending champions Boston University are the No. 2 seed and will square off against No. 3 New Hampshire in the other semifinal at 7 p.m.
The semifinal winners will then meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the conference title on the line. The league champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
