UAlbany's Gered Burns Earns At-Large Berth for NCAA Track & Field Championships
Gered Burns has been selected to compete at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as announced on Tuesday by the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee.  The national championships will take place at California State University, Sacramento’s A.G. Spanos Sports Complex on June 6-9.  He joins teammates Joe Greene (400-meter hurdles) and Marc Pallozzi (javelin) in this year’s NCAA competition.

Joe Greene & Marc Pallozzi Record Top-Five Finishes at NCAA East Regional Track & Field Championships
University at Albany’s Joe Greene and Marc Pallozzi each advanced to the NCAA championships in the 400-meter hurdles and javelin, respectively, for the second straight year on Saturday at the NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  The two-day regional meet was held at the University at Florida’s James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track.

Ryan Qualifies for NCAA Track and Field Championships
Boston University senior Marisa Ryan will represent the Terriers at the 2007 NCAA Track and Field Championships to be held on June 6-9 in Sacramento, Calif. Ryan qualified for the 10,000 meters by finishing the season with the 22nd best time in the nation. The top 27 times are accepted.

Parker Qualifies For Second NCAA National Championship
Junior harrier Cathy Parker (Westford, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire women’s outdoor track and field team recently received in at-large to the NCAA National Championship in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Nationals take place June 7-8 at Sacramento State University in Sacramento, California.

Quiller breaks NCAA East Region pole vault record, advances to nationals for second consecutive year
Senior Rory Quiller (West Point, N.Y.) broke the meet record in the pole vault and advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the opening day of the East Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships. In the process, he becomes the first individual in any sport at Binghamton to win a NCAA Regional title since the program moved up to the Division I level six years ago.

Three members of the University of New Hampshire outdoor track and field teams recently competed at the prestigious NCAA Northeast Regional Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Florida on Saturday. Juniors Cathy Parker (Westford, Mass.), Kiah Quarles (Derry, N.H.) and Reed Liset (Dover, N.H.) each participated in their respective events and found success along the way.

Felce Sets School Record at NCAA Regionals, Hastie Places 26th
Alex Felce finished off his freshman year with a school record in the 3000 steeplechase on Saturday night at the NCAA Regionals. His time of 9:01.93 was an improvement of four seconds on his previous best time for the event. The meet, held at the University of Florida, was Felce's best of the year. He went into the championships ranked 33rd, but he finished 14th overall out of the 40 athletes that took part in the Championships. The top five qualified for the NCAA Championships to be held next week in California.
