Joe Greene Named New York Relays Most Outstanding Male Performer
University at Albany’s Joe Greene captured the 400-meter hurdles and was named the Most Outstanding Male Performer of the Meet at the New York Relays on Sunday, April 22 at Randall’s Island. Greene was clocked in 51.42 seconds that set a new meet record.

Quiller and Williams excel at Bucknell Heptagonal Outdoor Track & Field Meet
Senior Rory Quiller  (West Point, N.Y.) broke the outdoor school record in the men's pole vault and sophomore Kim Williams (Buffalo, N.Y.) posted a pair of first-place finishes, highlighting Binghamton's showing at the Bucknell Heptagonal Outdoor Track & Field Meet. The Bearcat women's team place fifth out of eight teams while the men were sixth out of seven teams. Penn State swept both team titles.

Outdoor Track and Field Shows Well at UConn Invitational
The Boston University men’s outdoor track and field team traveled to Storrs, Conn., on Saturday afternoon to compete in the annual UConn Invitational. Saturday’s performance for the men was highlighted by a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay.

Track Runs at Holy Cross Quad Meet
The Men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at Holy Cross over the weekend. The event began on Thursday and Friday with the men’s secathlon and the women’s heptathlon. A traditional meet was held on Saturday with the men’s team finishing fifth of six team and the women fourth of four teams.

Track Finishes Second At Holy Cross Invitational
The University of Maine men's and women's outdoor track and field teams took part in a multi-team meet on Saturday afternoon hosted by Holy Cross. The men's team was second out of six teams with 168 points, while the women were second with 171 points overall. The Black Bears were led with seven individual first place finishes for the men and five individual victories for the women in the meet.

Ludwig Ties Record; Men Finish 4th, Women 6th at Buckell Track Meet
The UMBC men’s and women’s track and field teams finished fourth (73 points) and sixth (35 points), respectively, at the Bucknell Outdoor Heptagonal on Saturday at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.  The Retrievers competed in a seven-team field that included America East Conference foe, Binghamton.

Moore and Parker Record Early Season Success in Women's Outdoor Track and Field
Senior thrower Erin Moore (Nashua, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women’s outdoor track and field team recently set a third school record in her illustrious collegiate career in the hammer throw, besting UNH alum Jessica Descartes 2005 record of 160’5” on Saturday.

Men's Outdoor Track and Field Posts Second Place at Dartmouth College
Led by five first place finishes, the University of New Hampshire men’s outdoor track and field team delivered a strong showing at the Dartmouth College Invitational as the Wildcats placed second overall in the four way meet on Saturday.

Hampson And Krawitz Win Met Titles
Freshman Jessica Hampson won the 3000m steeplechase at the Metropolitan Championships on Saturday at Rutgers University. Her winning time of 11:28.36 was an improvement of 14 seconds from the last time she competed in the event. Laura Huet and Liz Carlson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 1500m with times of 4:39.09 and 4:41.68. Other top three finishes came from Jacquie Kehoe in the 5000m (18:57.99) and the 4x 800m relay team of Huet, Carlson, Lisa Voltaire and Angie Washburn finished 2nd with a time of 9:23.99. The remaining scoring positions were achieved by Stephanie Vos who was 6th in the 400m Hurdles (1:06.82) and Dana Hastie who finished 7th in the 1500m (4:51.25).
