By virtue of its 7-5 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon, Boston University has clinched at least a share of the 2007 America East Women's Lacrosse Regular-Season Championship.

The Terriers (9-5, 5-1 America East) have completed their regular-season play and will be either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed for the upcoming four-team America East Championship. Boston U. would earn the regular-season title outright and the right to host the conference tournament if Stony Brook (12-2, 4-1) drops its final league game of the season at Vermont on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m.

With a win over the Catamounts, the Seawolves would share the regular-season title and earn the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament due to their head-to-head victory over Boston U.

New Hampshire (6-8, 3-2) currently sits in third place in the league standings and has also punched its ticket into the four-team league tourney. UMBC (7-9, 2-3), Albany (6-8, 2-3) and Vermont (5-11, 2-3) are vying for the fourth and final playoff spot.
