UAlbany Men's Track and Field Victorious at Massachusetts Spring Meet

Freddie Wills posted a distance of 22-feet, 10-inches to win the long jump, while also finishing first in the high jump with a leap of 6-feet, 3.25-inches, to lead the UAlbany men's track and field team to a first-place finish at the Massachusetts Spring Meet on Saturday, March 31.

Top five finishes led the Boston University men’s outdoor track and field team at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday. Freshman Eric Ashe, junior Albert Crooker and senior Barry Graham all earned top finishes, helping the Terriers to a strong start in the outdoor season.

Cotterell Leads Boston U. Women’s Outdoor Track & Field at Tufts Invitational

Freshman Ebony Cotterell led the Boston University women’s outdoor track and field team with three first place finishes at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday. Cotterell placed first in both the 100- and 200-meter dash and the triple jump as the Terriers placed well early in the season.

Three Individual Winners for Hawks at Trinity Invitational

The University of Hartford track and field teams opened their spring season at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational Track and Field Meet on Saturday and took home victories in multiple field events for the men and the women. The meet was not a team scored event.

Maine Track Splits Meet With New Hampshire

The University of Maine men's and women's outdoor track and field teams hosted New Hampshire in their only home meet of the season on Saturday on the Beckett Family Track at Alfond Stadium. The women defeated the Wildcats 102-97, while the men were defeated 103-93. Maine won six individual men's events and eight individual women's events, plus all four relays.

Freshman William Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) and junior Reed Liset (Dover, N.H.) combined for four individual victories to help lead the University of New Hampshire Wildcats past America East rival University of Maine, 102-97, to open the 2007 outdoor track and field campaign on Saturday.

Stony Brook's Krawitz Wins Steeplechase in IC4A Qualifying Time

On the opening day of their spring season at the Southern Connecticut Invitational, Shaun Krawitz led the way for the men's and women's track teams by winning the 3000m steeplechase in an IC4A qualifying time of 9:11.70. Finishing second was freshman Tim Hodge in 9:24.10.
