Boston University's David Proctor (Rochdale, England) and Marisa Ryan (Farmington, Conn.) have been named America East's Men's and Women's Track Performers of the Week, respectively, while New Hampshire's Reed Liset (Dover, N.H./Dover) and Erin Moore (Nashua, N.H./Nashua) garner Men's and Women's Field Performer of the Week honors as well. The accolades were announced Wednesday (April 18).

Proctor took home the individual title in the 800 meters at the Georgia Invitational, cruising to a time of 1:50.92. In the 1500 meters, the junior just missed the title, finishing .04 seconds shy of first place, and completing the race in 3:38.65, for second place.

At the Georgia Invitational, Ryan took home the individual title in the 5000 meters, crossing the finish line in 16:50.59 seconds. The time qualified Ryan for the NCAA Regionals and she was the sole competitor to finish in under 17 minutes.

Liset set a University of Massachusetts facility record in the discus (151-0) and garnered victories in both the hammer and discus to lead the Wildcats to 174 points and win at the UMass Invitational on Saturday. Liset posted a phenomenal day in all three throwing events. He set the record in the discus (151-0) and also captured first in the hammer (169-11) along with placing fourth overall in the shot put (43-1).

Moore tallied a victory in the hammer and set a new facility record to go along with two second-place finishes in the shot put and discus to lead the Wildcats to a third-place showing at the University of Massachusetts Invitational on Saturday. After a week off due to last week’s inclement weather, the Wildcats responded by posting a number of breakthrough performances, which were highlighted by Moore’s win in the hammer (160-11) and second place finish in the shot put (43-3) and discus (128-6).
