Sophomore Kim Williams (Buffalo, N.Y.) placed second in the 200 and helped the Bearcat women's 400 relay team to a runner-up finish, highlighting the track & field teams' performances at the Virginia Onesty Invitational on Saturday afternoon. At the Bucknell Invitational, meanwhile, sophomore Katie Radzik turned in a third-place finish in the 10,000.

The Boston University track and field team had a strong showing at the Georgia Specs Town Invitational over the weekend with 17 top-five finishes, including individual crowns for David Proctor in the 800-meter run and Marisa Ryan in the 5,000.

Maine Track Has Strong Showing At Massachusetts
The University of Maine men's and women's outdoor track and field teams took part in a multi-team meet on Saturday afternoon hosted by the University of Massachusetts. The women's team was second out of seven teams with 130 points, while the men were third out of eight teams with 78 points. Maine was strongest in the field events, accounting for four of the seven first place finishes for the Black Bears.

UMBC's Kelhower, Ludwig Continue Winning Seasons at Bucknell and UVA Invites; Kelhower Sets New School Record
The UMBC track and field teams finished competition at the University of Virginia Lou Onesty/Milton G. Abramson Invitational on Saturday at Lannigan Field. The Retrievers also competed in the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pa.

Senior thrower Erin Moore (Nashua, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women’s outdoor track and field team tallied a first place victory in the hammer and set a new facility record to go along with two second place finishes in the shot put and discus to lead the Wildcats to a third place showing at the University of Massachusetts Invitational on Saturday.

Junior Reed Liset (Dover, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men’s outdoor track and field set a University of Massachusetts facility record in the discus (151-0) and garnered victories in both the hammer and discus to lead the Wildcats to 174 points and win at the UMass Invitational on Saturday.

Stony Brook's Miller and Muhammad Win at Umass Invitational
Justin Miller won the shot put with a throw of 49'01 1/2" at the University of Massachusetts Invitational at Amherst on Saturday. This throw was a season best performance by Miller. In the triple jump, Mubaarak Muhammad won with a jump of 45'03".

Cats DMR Team Sets New School Record at Sea Ray Relays
A handful of Catamounts competed at the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee this past weekend, but even they could not escape the inclement weather that has plagued the outdoor track and field season. The meet was cancelled after only a few events on Saturday due to lightning and thunderstorms that rolled through the area.
