Great Danes Break Five School Recors at New York's Collegiate Invitational
Sophomore Jessica Ortman set a school record in the championship of the 800-meters, finishing second overall, as members of the UAlbany track and field team competed in the second and final day of the Collegiate Invitational at the New York Armory on Saturday, February 3. 106 men's teams and 104 women's squads participated in the meet. Team scores were not recorded.

Hartford Women's Track Shines at URI, Breaks Two School Records
The University of Hartford men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the URI Mega Meet and the URI Women’s Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The men’s team finished ninth of nine teams with 18 total points, while the women’s team finished in sixth place with a season best of 35 points.

Maine men and women win dual meet
The University of Maine men's and women's indoor track and field team hosted Holy Cross in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Maine Fieldhouse. The Maine men picked up a 106-73 win, while the women won 93-83. Skip Edwards, Jennifer Pierpont and Arel Gordon led Maine with two individual wins each. The men won twelve of 17 events, while the women were first in eleven of seventeen events.

The UMBC men’s and women’s track and field teams finished competition at the 7th Annual New Balance Collegiate Invitational held at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York, N.Y. on Saturday. The meet annually showcases national talent from powerhouse running schools such as Arkansas, Texas, Princeton, Texas A &M, LSU, and Tennessee.

Hodge Leads Stony Brook Men at University of Rhode Island Mega Meet
Tim Hodge led the men's team on Friday at the URI Invitational by winning the mile in an IC4A qualifying time of 4:13.53. Hodge, running his first race for the Seawolves, crossed the finish line almost five seconds ahead of the second place runner.

More Records Fall in Catamount Track and Field Performances at Yale and Dartmouth
For the fourth consecutive week during the indoor season the Catamount track and field team set new school records. Half the team competed at the Giegengack Invitational at Coxe Cage at Yale University, while the other half of the Vermont team participated in the Dartmouth Indoor Classic in Hanover, N.H. on Saturday (Feb. 3).
