Championship Seeding Possibilities
Seeds four through nine will be solidified on Sunday as the 2006-07 regular season comes to a close. Below is a breakdown of possible finishes for each team.
- UMBC can be seeded fourth through sixth.
- Maine can be seeded fourth through sixth.
- Hartford can be seeded fourth through eighth.
- Binghamton can be seeded fifth through seventh.
- New Hampshire can be seeded seventh through ninth.
- Stony Brook can be seeded eighth or ninth.

*at Binghamton 55, Hartford 53
Mike Gordon nailed a three-pointer with 22 seconds remaining and then sank a free throw with one second remaining to lift the Bearcats to the win... It was Gordon's third game-winning shot this season and third against Hartford in the last four meetings between the two schools... Bo Taylor led all scorers with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks, while the Bearcats were paced by Steve Proctor's 17 points... With the win Binghamton successfully avoids the first round game of the league championship.
*Albany 66, at Stony Brook 46
The Great Danes defeated Empire State foe Stony Brook to guarantee the Seawolves an appearance in the first round game of the league tournament... Reigning Player of the Year Jamar Wilson netted a team-high 19 points for Albany, while Mitchell Beauford dropped in a game-high 20 points to pace the Seawolves.
*at UMBC 80, Maine 77
Behind a team-high 20 points from Chris Pugh, the Retrievers won a crucial league contest over the Black Bears... UMBC moves into sole possession of fourth place in the conference standings with the win... Kevin Reed poured in a game-high 24 points to pace Maine... The Black Bears are now tied for fifth with Hartford.
*Vermont 57, at Boston U. 55
The Catamounts clinched the regular-season title outright with a victory over New England rival Boston University... Vermont has now won 10-straight and 17 of it's last 18 outings and boast the nation's longest road win streak (11)... UVM becomes the first league team to go undefeated on the road in the conference play since the Terriers did so in 2003-04.

*Binghamton 66, at New Hampshire 37
The Bearcats cruised to a 29-point victory over UNH to keep their hopes alive of avoiding the first round game of the America East Championship which pits eighth seed versus the ninth seed... Binghamton is now tied with New Hampshire for seventh in the league standings with the Bearcats holding the tie-breaker between the two due to their victory over second-place Albany... Jermaine Anderson netted 18 of UNH's 37 points as the Wildcats shot just 30.8 percent from the field and 0-for-3 from the line... Binghamton was led by Lazar Trifunovic's 15 points and outrebounded UNH 41-25.
