The UMBC men captured their third-straight conference crown, while the UMBC women also took home the league title at the 2007 America East Swimming and Diving Championships at Boston University's Aquatic Center on Sunday evening. The Retrievers become just the fourth team in conference history to sweep the league titles in the same season.

On the men’s side, the Retrievers (893.5 points) were trailed by the runners-up of Binghamton with 805 points, while third place went to Stony Brook (536.5 ). Boston University (488) and Maine (405) rounded out the five-team field.
The UMBC women (719) won by almost one-hundred points. Runner-up went to Boston University (622), while New Hampshire (609) finished in a close third, just 13 points back. Maine (467) ended in fourth, followed by Vermont (457), Stony Brook (264) and Binghamton (257).
UMBC’s Agnes Stanislawska and Binghamton's Brian Koizim won the Senior Coaches' Award, given to the seniors who have earned the most points from freshman through their senior years.
The Most Outstanding Female Swimmer award went to New Hampshire’s Kary Goodman having set two meet records on the weekend. David Holmes of Binghamton was awarded Most Outstanding Male Swimmer after swimming two NCAA consideration times and breaking four meet records.
UMBC continued its sweep as Jeff Salgado and Ashley Houghton received the Male and Female Most Outstanding Diving awards, respectively.
Vermont’s Molly MacMillan won the Most Outstanding Rookie Award, while Rasmus Kutt also of UMBC was the winner on the men’s side.
Women's Swimming and Diving Coaching Staff of the Year went to Vermont's Gerry Cournoyer, Jennifer Fenton-Cournoyer and Nancy Bercaw, while Binghamton's Sean Clark, Aimee Bourassa, and Anna Tutunnikova garnered the honor on the men's side.
Binghamton’s Brian Koizim set a meet record in the 200 backstroke, finishing in a time of 1:48.77, breaking the record by more than two seconds. Brenno Varanda of Binghamton swam 2:03.34 in the 200 backstroke, setting a new meet record as well. Binghamton’s David Holmes swam his second NCAA consideration time of the weekend in the 200 butterfly, setting a new meet record with a time of 1:46.70.
The UMBC women’s and Binghamton men’s teams set meet records in the 400 freestyle relay, with a time of 3:27.90 and 3:01.18 respectively.
