Eight Men's Soccer Standouts Chosen to NSCAA All-Region Squad

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Eight men's soccer players from four America East institutions were named to the NSCAA/adidas All-Northeast Region Team on Wednesday. Three athletes received first-team recognition, one took home second-team honors and four were named to the third team. Complete Team.

America East Striker of the Year Cameron Keith (Aberdeenshire, Scotland/Aberdeen University) and Defender of the Year Adam Chavez (Endicott, N.Y./Union-Endicott) from Binghamton earned first-team recognition. The teammates led the Bearcats to the regular-season title and a runner-up finish in the conference championship. Hartford's Matt Glaeser (Fredericksburg, Va./James Monroe), the league's Goalkeeper of the Year, received first-team honors.

Boston University's Neil Hlavaty (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) garnered second-team accolades. Hlavaty, the conference's Midfielder of the Year, helped the Terriers earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Championship.

Connor Tobin (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins) and Loren Hill (Eugene, Ore./Sheldon) from Vermont and Andreas Blamo (Monrovia, Liberia/Hall) and Daniel Antunez (Flint, Texas/Santa Ana) from Hartford were named to the third team.

The NSCAA All-Northeast Region Team consists of athletes from America East, the Ivy League and nine of the 16 Big East institutions. First-team honorees are eligible for the All-America squad.
