Who’s Back:
Mike Gordon was named second-team all-conference after averaging 10.9 ppg and 4.0 apg (fourth in America East). He was also named to the America East all-defensive team after leading the conference with 2.5 steals per game. He also led America East in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.39)
Richard Forbes is the team’s leading returning scorer. Forbes averaging 11.9 ppg in his first season after joining the Bearcats from Howard Junior College.
Lazar Trifunovic was an America East all-rookie choice in 2007. He is the leading returning rebounder in America East (6.4 rpg) and also contributed 10.8 ppg.
Who’s Gone:
Steve Proctor led the team with 11.8 ppg. Troy Hailey started all 28 games and averaged 8.2 ppg.
Newcomers:
Rookie head coach Kevin Broadus added five recruits, three freshmen and two from the junior college ranks, in his first month at Binghamton.
Notable:
Broadus, who helped lead Georgetown to the Final Four as an assistant coach, takes over as head coach of the Bearcats.
