Who’s Back:

Joe Zeglinski was an America East all-rookie choice after averaging 12.7 ppg and 4.8 rpg. He led America East in minutes played with 36.3 per game.

Junior Jaret Von Rosenberg averaged 10.5 ppg in his first season with the Hawks after a year at Collin County Community College.

Junior Michael Turner averaged 5.7 ppg and 5.2 rpg in 2006-07.

Senior Rich Baker (5.6 ppg) missed 11 games due to a broken foot. The team was 8-6 prior to injury, 2-9 in games Baker missed.


Who’s Gone:

Bo Taylor was a first-team all-conference selection after averaging 14.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg as a senior. Alex Zimnickas averaged 7.1 ppg.


Newcomers:

Warren McLendon headlines a group of five newcomers. He sat out 2006-07 following his transfer from The Citadel, where he averaged 12.8 ppg and 6.7 rpg as a Southern Conference all-rookie selection in 2004-05.

Notable:

Second-year head coach Dan Leibovitz, a former assistant under John Chaney at Temple, has added depth to his team after playing four players (Zeglinski, Von Rosenberg, Turner and Taylor) more than 30 minutes per game a year ago.
