Who’s Back:

Junior Bernal averaged 9.9 ppg and 2.8 apg as a rookie in 2006-07.

Philippe Tchekane Bofia, who averaged 9.4 ppg and 5.5. rpg in 2005-06, saw his production fall to 7.4 ppg and 3.7 rpg last season.

Sophomore Mark Socoby appeared in all 30 games as a rookie, averaging 6.9 ppg.

Who’s Gone:

Kevin Reed returned for his senior season after missing all of 2005-06 with a foot injury and scored 14.1 ppg and added 6.0 rpg as a second-team all-conference selection.

Jon Sheets was second on the team in scoring (10.8 ppg) and led America East in 3-pt FGs made per game (2.63).

Chris Bruff shot a conference-best .529 from the floor en route to 10.7 ppg.

Newcomers:

The Black Bears welcome in four newcomers, including a pair of in-state talents in Troy Barnies and Sean McNally.

Notable:

The Black Bears have nine players on the roster who played high school basketball in Maine.
