Senior Aly Young (4.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg) will add veteran presence to the Seawolves. She started 16 games, including four conference games, last year.

Who’s gone:

Mykeema Ford helped carry Stony Brook to its recent success. The 2007 Player of the Year led the league in scoring with 19.1 ppg and had the fifth-most assists in the conference. Jessica Smith was the second component in Stony Brook’s 1-2 punch last season. Smith, a unanimous first-team all-conference pick, was second in the conference in scoring and rebounding. She also made 1.90 steals per game for sixth-best in the league.

Newcomers:

The Seawolves add five freshmen to the 2007 roster, as well as junior transfer Kim Etol from Arizona Western College.
