Who’s Back:
Aly Hinton (8.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg) was a unanimous all-rookie selection in 2007. She led the team in rebounding, while finishing sixth in the conference. Hinton ranked fourth on the team in scoring.
Cheri Raffo (9.3 ppg, 1.7 apg) started all 30 games, averaging 29.5 minutes per game as a junior last year. She was tied for second on the team in points.
Who’s gone:
Katie Meinhardt won the inaugural Fan's Choice Player of the Year last season and was tied for ninth in the league in scoring. She was also eighth in the league in assists on her way to being named to the second-team all-conference.
Erica Kovach finished tied for second on the team in both scoring (9.3ppg) and rebounding (6.2rpg). She started all 30 games for the Terriers.
Newcomers:
Coach Greenberg signed two freshman and one junior transfer from Furman University. Freshman Kathryn Briggs attended the same high school as recent graduate Kovach.
Notable:
The Terriers played two 2007 NCAA Tournament participants last season-- Arizona State (December 1st, L 53-75) and Duke (December 30th, L 43-71).
Boston University will host the Big Ten’s Ohio State in Agganis Arena on November 17. Last season, the Terriers faced Brown University in their annual Agganis appearance.
