The Zips hit half their shots in the second half to distance themselves from the Bearcats... Lazar Trifunovic recorded his second straight double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Columbia 66, at Stony Brook 46
The Lions scored 16 straight points to close out the first half... Nick Carter led the Seawolves with 13 points.
at UMBC 89, George Washington 79
Brian Hodges scored a game-high 27 points and hit seven three pointers to lead the Retrievers to one their best wins in program history... Ray Barbosa poured in 21 points... Darryl Proctor recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds... Cavell Johnson had 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocks... Jay Greene dished out 10 assists.
Northeastern 71, at Maine 57
The Huskies shot 62 percent in the second half and outscored the Black Bears 41-28 in that stanza en route to the win... Maine's Mark Socoby scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds... Brian Andre also poured in 17... Junior Bernal contributed 14 points, six rebounds and three steals.
at Vermont 59, Towson 57
Colin McIntosh hit a three pointer with 5.4 seconds remaining in regulation that broke a 56-56 tie and gave the Catamounts the victory... Mike Trimboli netted a game-high 23 points... America East's leading scorer Marqus Blakely had 12 points and seven rebounds... Kyle Cieplicki contributed 12 points, six boards and five assists.
Hartford 80, South Carolina St. 72 (OT) (at Las Vegas)
The Hawks outscored the Bulldogs 14-6 in overtime to earn their second win in as many days at the Findlay Toyota Las Vegas Invitational... Jaret Von Rosenberg scored an America East season-high 31 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 6-of-9 from deep and 7-of-7 at the free-throw line... Joe Zeglinski added 11 points, five rebounds and four assists... Warren McLendon had 10 points and seven boards.

The Wildcats are in search of their third straight win... The Bobcats face their third America East opponent of the season after going 1-1 against Hartford and Binghamton.

The Terriers look to rebound after falling to crosstown-rival Northeastern on Tuesday.
Sacred Heart at Albany, 2 p.m.
The Great Danes look for their third straight win... Albany leads America East allowing just 54.8 points per game.... The Pioneers were picked to win the Northeast Conference.
