Empire State rivals meet as the Bearcats host the Great Danes at the Events Center... Albany swept the season series over Binghamton a season ago, including a slim one-point win at the Events Center... Associate Head Coach Eric Eaton will take over the reigns for Albany as head coach Will Brown has been suspended for one game for violating the league's Ethical Conduct policy.
*Boston U. at Hartford, 2 p.m.
The Terriers open the America East portion of their 2006-07 schedule as they hit the road to take on the Hawks... Hartford is looking to get off to its first 2-0 league start since the 2002-03 season... Three of the conference's four freshmen leading scorers will be on display as Boston University's Tyler Morris (15.1 ppg) and Corey Lowe (12.7) and Hartford's Joe Zeglinski (12.5) take the court.
*UMBC at Stony Brook, 2 p.m.
The Retrievers look to begin their conference slate 2-0 for the second-straight season as they travel to take on the Seawolves... The two split their two regular-season meetings last year with the home team winning both contests... UMBC defeated Stony Brook, 88-70, in the first round of the America East Championship last season at Binghamton University's Events Center.
*New Hampshire at Maine, 7 p.m.
New England rivals square off as the Black Bears host the Wildcats at Alfond Arena... Both squads dropped their conference season-openers on Wednesday... The Black Bears swept the 2005-06 season series over UNH, including a 59-56 overtime victory at Alfond.

Brian Hodges three-point play with 5.5 seconds remaining lifted the Retrievers to their third conference-opening victory in four years since joining America East... The win marked UMBC's first triumph over the Bearcats at the Events Center... Hodges led all scorers with 22 points, while teammates Tom Young (12 points) and Jay Greene (10) also tallied double-digits... UMBC shot a season-high 58.8 percent from the field... Binghamton was paced by 16 points apiece from Steve Proctor and Lazar Trifunovic.
*at Vermont 80, Stony Brook 69
Freshman Joe Trapani poured in 23 points, including 21 in the second half, to lead the Catamounts to an 11-point victory over the Seawolves in the conference opener for both squads... Mike Trimboli had an impressive stat line for UVM with 21 points, seven boards, six assists and five steals, while teammate Chris Holm also cracked the double-figure plateau with 14 points... Vermont attempted 36 free throws, compared to just 16 for SBU... Stony Brook was led by Ricky Lucas' 18 points.
*Hartford 62, at Maine 60
The Hawks turned the ball over only four times, including just one miscue in the second half, to win the conference lid-lifter and league debut for first-year head coach Dan Leibovitz... Hartford's Bo Taylor led all scorers with 15 points, while Michael Turner chipped in with 12 of his own for the Hawks as well... Maine was paced by 14 points apiece from Chris Bruff and Kevin Reed.
*at Albany 69, New Hampshire 52
The defending champion Great Danes used a game-high 20 points from reigning America East Player of the Year Jamar Wilson to roll past UNH in the league opener for both teams... Albany jumped out to an 11-0 lead to start the game, but UNH battled back to tie the game at the half, 31-31... Jason Siggers (16 points) and Brent Wilson (10) also netted double figures for UA... Jermaine Anderson led the Wildcats with 18 points, while Blagoj Janev (13 points) and Mike Christensen (11) also made solid contributions.
Holy Cross 73, at Boston U. 70 (OT)
Corey Lowe (24 points) and Tyler Morris (23) combined to score 47 points for the Terriers, but it was not enough to overcome the Patriot League's Holy Cross... Morris drained a buzzer-beating three at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime... Lowe went to the line with a chance to tie the game with 16 ticks remaining in OT, but connected on just one of two attempts.
