UAlbany Track & Field Sets Several Meet Records at Great Dane Classic

Sophomore Jessica Ortman set a UAlbany indoor record in the 800-meters as the UAlbany men's and women's track and field teams hosted the Great Dane Classic at the New York Armory on Friday, January 19. 22 men's teams and 18 women's teams participated in the meet.

Binghamton's Quiller, Williams win events at Albany Great Dane Indoor Track Classic

Senior Rory Quiller (West Point, N.Y.) captured the men's pole vault and sophomore Kim Williams (Buffalo, N.Y.)won the women's 200, highlighting the Binghamton track & field teams' showing at the Albany Great Dane Indoor Classic. There were 29 teams at the non-scoring meet.

Goodman, Ryan Lead Boston University Men's and Women's Indoor Track at Quad Meet

The Boston University men’s indoor track team continued its exciting start to the season with another impressive showing at its quad-meet on Wednesday evening at the Track and Tennis Center. Senior Nick Goodman set the tone for the men, placing first in both the mile run and 800 meters, helping the team to 13 top-five finishes overall.

The Boston University women’s indoor track team continued its exciting start to the season with another impressive showing at its quad-meet on Wednesday evening at the Track and Tennis Center. Senior Marisa Ryan set the tone for the women, placing first in both the mile run and 3000 meters, helping the women to seven first-place finishes overall.

Hawks Track and Field Returns to Action at the URI Sorlein Invite

The men’s and women’s track and field teams opened the New Year competing at the URI Sorlein Invitational in Kingston, RI. The women’s team was led by a couple of school record performances, which propelled them to an eighth place finish out of 10 teams. The men’s team scored points in one event and finished in a tie for 10th overall.

UMaine Track Competes At GBTC Invitational

The University of Maine men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Gordon Indoor Track at Harvard University. While there were no team scores, the Black Bears had numerous top-five finishes, including a first place by Laura Brustolon.

UNH Women's Indoor Track and Field Captures First at Tri Meet

The University of New Hampshire women’s indoor track and field team notched eight individual winners on the afternoon to capture a tri-meet with a total of 137 points on Saturday on UNH’s Paul Sweet Oval.

UNH Men's Indoor Track and Field First at Tri Meet

The University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team captured first place to cap off the 2006-07 home portion of its schedule, as the Wildcats compiled 151 points to defeat Holy Cross and the University of Massachusetts on Saturday on UNH’s Paul Sweet Oval.

Stony Brook Freshmen Huet and Bermingham Lead the Way at the Albany Invite

Freshman Laura Huet recorded the highest finish for both teams taking second in the championship mile with a time of 5.11.60, she was followed closely in third spot by fellow Seawolf Liz Carlson (5.14.10). Both of these times were under the Met Championship qualifying standard. Other scorers for the women's squad were Kerry Salzano and Jacquie Kehoe, finishing in fifth (10.38.21) and eigth (10.55.75) respectively in the 3000m, both qualified for the Mets.

Catamounts Win Own Track and Field Tri-Meet

The University of Vermont men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams combined to win 13 events and each took home first place in the Catamounts’ tri-meet featuring Middlebury College and McGill University at the Gardner-Collins Indoor Track and Field Facility.
