Tuesday, January 16
*at Maine 70, UMBC 56
The Black Bears shot 51.9 percent from the floor and 52.6 percent from beyond the arc to down the Retrievers... After dropping its first four conference games, Maine has now won back-to-back league games for the first time this season... Kevin Read led the way for the Black Bears with 18 points, while Jon Sheets chipped in with 17 on 5-of-8 shooting from three... Brian Hodges came off the bench to pour in a game-high 26 points for UMBC.
New Hampshire 65, at Dartmouth 61
The Wildcats closed out the non-conference portion of their regular-season slate with a victory over in-state foe Dartmouth... America East improves to 11-6 versus Ivy League foes on the 2006-07 season... Jermaine Anderson (21 points) and Blagoj Janev (15) came off the bench to lead UNH in scoring.
 
Monday, January 15
*Binghamton 57, at Hartford 55
Nearly one year to the day after Mike Gordon converted a last-second layup to give the Bearcats a 57-55 victory at Hartford on January 19, 2006, the junior did the same exact feat with one-tenth of a second remaining to give Binghamton another 57-55 win on the Hawks home court... Richard Forbes paced the Bearcats with a team-high 12 points, while Hartford was led by 16 points apiece from Jaret Von Rosenberg and Joe Zeglinski... Bo Taylor had his 10-game double-digit scoring streak snapped for the Hawks as he netted eight points.
*at Albany 66, Stony Brook 61
Jon Iati came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points to lead the Great Danes to a five-point victory over Empire State rival Stony Brook... Reigning America East Player of the Year and the Player of the Week Jamar Wilson scored just eight points, all coming from the free throw line, as he went 0-for-7 from the field with six turnovers in 35 minutes of action... Ricky Lucas led the Seawolves with 17 points.

Thursday, January 18
*Hartford at UMBC, 7 p.m.
The Hawks head to Baltimore to take on the Retrievers in a crucial early-season conference tilt for both squads... After winning its first two league games of the 2006-07 season, UMBC has dropped its last three conference outings... Hartford is 3-2 in league play, coming off a two-point set back versus Binghamton on Monday... The Hawks swept the 2005-06 regular-season series over the Retrievers...
