*at Albany 82, Maine 73
The Great Danes improved to 6-1 at home this season and have now won eight of their last 10 outings... The Black Bears fell to 0-4 in league play and are currently riding a six-game skid... Reigning America East Player of the Year Jamar Wilson poured in 20 of his game-high 31 points in the second half to fuel Albany's comeback... The Great Danes trailed 61-54 with just over 12 minutes remaining before reeling off a 14-3 run to take command... Chris Bruff paced Maine with 23 points... Kevin Reed was held to just two points on 1-of-12 shooting in 32 minutes of action.
*Vermont 83, at UMBC 63
The Catamounts extended their league-best win streak to six games with a road win over UMBC... Vermont dominated on the glass (34-22), while shooting a blistering 60.4 percent (32-for-53) from the field and 64.3 percent (9-for-14) from beyond the arc en route to victory... Freshman Joe Trapani matched his career-high with 25 points, while UVM teammate Mike Trimboli tallied 16 points and 11 assists... Tom Young led the Retrievers with a career-high 23 points.
*Boston U. 61, at Binghamton 49
The Terriers used tough defense and solid three-point shooting as they led wire-to-wire versus the Bearcats... Boston U. held Binghamton to 33.3 percent (19-for-57) from the field, while the Terriers connected on 40.0 percent of their threes (8-for-20)... The win marked the first time this season Boston U. has won back-to-back games... Corey Lowe led the Terriers with a game-high 17 points, while Omari Peterkin tallied a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds... Binghamton was paced by Richard Forbes' 16 points.
*at New Hampshire 72, Hartford 59
Behind a career-high 21 points from Tyrece Gibbs, UNH rebounded from its heart-breaking loss to Vermont on Tuesday to defeat the upstart Hawks... The Wildcats jumped out to a commanding 15-2 lead just 7:41 into the contest as they lead the entire way... UNH connected on 14-of-29 long balls (48.3 percent) as the Wildcats picked apart the Hartford zone... Joe Zeglinski led the Hawks with 16 points.
Tuesday, January 9
*Vermont 62, at New Hampshire 60
Marqus Blakely's three-pointer as time expired lifted the Catamounts to a comeback win at UNH, extending UVM's win streak to five games... Blagoj Janev was unstoppable for the Wildcats as he scored 31 points, going 11-for-11 from the field, 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and 4-for-5 from the charity stripe... Mike Trimboli paced UVM with 13 points... UNH led by as many as 15 points with just over 16 minutes remaining in the game.
*Albany 65, at UMBC 61
Reigning America East Player of the Year Jamar Wilson dropped in a team-high 19 points, including the go-ahead free throws with just over 30 seconds remaining to give the Great Danes a come-from-behind victory... America East Player of the Week Brian Hodges netted a game-high 24 points, including a three-pointer with 47 ticks left to tie the game at 61... Wilson and Hodges garnered America East Player of the Game honors.
*at Boston U. 65, Maine 63
Corey Lowe netted a team-high 17 points as the Terriers rallied to snap a six-game losing streak... Kevin Reed poured in a game-high 29 points for Maine... With the win, Boston U. head coach Dennis Wolff recorded the 100th victory of his career at Case Gym... Reed's just barely missed on his 65-foot heave as time expired... Maine has now lost five straight, including an 0-3 start in league play.
*at Stony Brook 67, Binghamton 55
Behind Ricky Lucas' game-high 21 points, the Seawolves recorded their first conference win of the 2006-07 season, snapping a three-game skid... Stony Brook turned 20 Binghamton miscues into 17 points... The Bearcats were led by Richard Forbes' 14 points... Solomon Bamiro came off the bench to score 14 points and provide the Seawolves with a big spark.

Saturday, January 13
*Binghamton at Maine, 12 noon
The Black Bears look to snap a season-long six-game losing streak and get their first conference victory of the 2006-07 campaign as they host the Bearcats at Alfond Arena... Binghamton has dropped two in a row and currently sits 1-3 in league play... Last season Binghamton was a perfect 3-0 versus Maine, including a win over the Black Bears in the quarterfinals of the America East Championship at the Events Center.
*New Hampshire at Boston U., 1 p.m.
The Terriers try to stretch their season-long win streak to three games as they host the Wildcats... Last season the two teams split their regular-season series with the home team winning each contest... The two most experienced coaches in America East meet as Dennis Wolff (13th season) and Bill Herrion (16th season) square off... UNH is 2-2 in conference play with one of its losses come to Vermont on a buzzer-beater three.
*Stony Brook at Hartford, 2 p.m.
The Seawolves will attempt to win back-to-back league games for the first time this season and get back to .500 in conference play as they travel to Connecticut to face the Hawks... Hartford is coming off a 13-point loss at UNH on Thursday night... The game should be a battle of give and take as Hartford leads the league in steals (8.53 spg), while Stony Brook ranks last in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (0.65).
*Albany at Vermont, 3 p.m. (AETV: NESN/TW3)
Eric Frede (play-by-play) and Tommy Herrion (color analyst) will call the action live on NESN and Time Warner Cable as the top two teams in the conference square off in a rematch of the 2006 America East title game... The Great Danes are 0-8 lifetime at Patrick Gymnasium since the series started back in 1925... The league-leaders in scoring (Jamar Wilson, 18.4 ppg), rebounding (Chris Holm, 11.2 rpg) and assists (Mike Trimboli, 5.81 apg) will all be on display along with the conference's top-scoring freshman (Joe Trapani, 15.8 ppg)...
