*Vermont 62, at New Hampshire 60
Marqus Blakely's three-pointer as time expired lifted the Catamounts to a comeback win at UNH, extending UVM's win streak to five games... Blagoj Janev was unstoppable for the Wildcats as he scored 31 points, going 11-for-11 from the field, 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and 4-for-5 from the charity stripe... Mike Trimboli paced UVM with 13 points... UNH led by as many as 15 points with just over 16 minutes remaining in the game.
*Albany 65, at UMBC 61
Reigning America East Player of the Year Jamar Wilson dropped in a team-high 19 points, including the go-ahead free throws with just over 30 seconds remaining to give the Great Danes a come-from-behind victory... America East Player of the Week Brian Hodges netted a game-high 24 points, including a three-pointer with 47 ticks left to tie the game at 61... Wilson and Hodges garnered America East Player of the Game honors.
*at Boston U. 65, Maine 63
Corey Lowe netted a team-high 17 points as the Terriers rallied to snap a six-game losing streak... Kevin Reed poured in a game-high 29 points for Maine... With the win, Boston U. head coach Dennis Wolff recorded the 100th victory of his career at Case Gym... Reed's just barely missed on his 65-foot heave as time expired... Maine has now lost five straight, including an 0-3 start in league play.
*at Stony Brook 67, Binghamton 55
Behind Ricky Lucas' game-high 21 points, the Seawolves recorded their first conference win of the 2006-07 season, snapping a three-game skid... Stony Brook turned 20 Binghamton miscues into 17 points... The Bearcats were led by Richard Forbes' 14 points... Solomon Bamiro came off the bench to score 14 points and provide the Seawolves with a big spark.

Thursday, January 11
*Boston U. at Binghamton, 7 p.m.
The Terriers look to win back-to-back games for the first time this season as they head to the Events Center to take on the Bearcats... Binghamton hopes to get back on track after falling at Stony Brook on Tuesday night... Boston U. is 1-6 in its last seven outings which have been decided by a combined 32 points.
*Hartford at New Hampshire, 7 p.m.
The upstart Hawks look to improve to 3-0 in conference play under first-year head coach Dan Leibovitz... UNH is coming off a heart-breaking, buzzer-beating loss to Vermont on Tuesday... After a slow start to the 2006-07 season, preseason all-conference selection Blagoj Janev has returned to form for UNH as he is averaging 18.6 ppg over his last five games.
*Maine at Albany, 7 p.m.
The top two squads in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll square off as unanimous favorite Albany hosts Maine at SEFCU Arena... The Great Danes have won seven of their last nine outings and are 5-1 at home this season... The Black Bears hope to snap a five-game skid as they are in search of their first league win of 2006-07.
*Vermont at UMBC, 7 p.m.
The Catamounts bring their league-best five-game win streak into UMBC's RAC Arena for a conference tilt in Baltimore... Vermont is coming off an exhilirating last-second victory over UNH, while the Retrievers are looking to regroup after falling to conference-favorite Albany on Tuesday night... The league's second- and third-leading scorers, respectively, square off as UMBC's Brian Hodges (15.9 ppg) and UVM's Joe Trapani (15.2) meet for the first time... Hodges is the nation's highest scoring sixth-man, while Vermont's Chris Holm ranks third in the country in rebounding (11.3 rpg).
