Vermont's Tyler Hasman (Portland, Ore./Lincoln/Yavapai JC) collects America East Player of the Week honors for men's soccer, while New Hampshire's Chris Banks (Westborough, Mass./Westborough) earns his second America East Rookie of the Week honor of the season. The awards were announced on Monday (September 25).
Hasman scored two goals including the game-winning goal in the Catamounts' 2-1 win over New Hampshire in the conference opener. The junior forward has scored a point in three-straight games and five of the last six.
Banks scored the game-winning goal against Massachusetts and scored the Wildcats' lone goal in an overtime loss to Vermont. The freshman is tied for the league lead in goals with seven.
