Eleven America East women's soccer players were named to the NSCAA/adidas All-Northeast Region Teams, including four first-team selection, six second teamers, and one third-team selection. Those four first-team selections were also on the national ballot for national NSCAA All-America selections. America East had more honorees in the region than any other conference. Ivy League was second with six players selected.
Boston University, which garnered just the second-ever NCAA at large bid in league history, boosted an All-Region team-best five players named, including Lauren Erwin (Orange, Conn./Amity Regional), who was a first-team honoree. Stephanie Dreyer (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle), Erica Lee (Oakton, Va./Oakton), Marisha Schumacher-Hodge (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schneley), and Corie Halasz (Milford, Conn./Lauralton Hall ) were also honored.
Hartford, which won the America East Championship, was represented by a pair of first-team selections and a second-team honoree. Liz Cook (Halifax, Nova Scotia/Halifax Grammar), the America East Goalkeeper of the Year and Meagan Riemer (Ellington, Conn./Ellington/Sacred Heart), the America East Striker of the Year were first-team honorees, while Kellie Leyland (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill) was named to the second team.
Rounding out first-team honorees was Maine's Marie-Andree Canuel (St.-Jean-Chrysostome, Quebec/F.X.-Garneau). Canuel's teammate Laura Harper (Nepean, Ontario/Mother Teresa) was a second team selection.
Stony Brook's Brooke Barbuto (Syracuse, N.Y./Corcoran) closes out America East's 11 honorees.
