Boston U. plays for the title at the Blue Sky Restaurant Classic against third-ranked Duke... The 13-0 Blue Devils advanced to the title game with a 77-40 win over Dartmouth... America East schools are 2-3 against the ACC this season with both wins coming in tournament championship games.
Syracuse at Binghamton, 1 p.m.
The Bearcats welcome in Syracuse as the second Big-East foe to play at the Events Center this season... Back on Dec. 10, Villanova defeated the Bearcats on their home court... Last year, Binghamton earned a convincing 74-52 win over the Orange in Syracuse.
St. John’s at Stony Brook, 7 p.m.
In the second of two America East/Big East matchup of the day, the Seawolves welcome in neighbor St. John’s... America East schools have had the Red Storm’s number this season as Boston U. (83-64) and Hartford (58-46) each defeated St. John’s... Stony Brook fell to Red Storm 79-59 last season.
Albany at Lamar, 8 p.m.
The Great Danes look to make it three straight as they travel to Lamar... The 4-8 Lady Cardinals compete in the Southland Conference... Over the past two days, America East schools are 4-0 against the Southland including Albany’s 58-48 win over Sam Houston State... In addition, UMBC notched a pair of Southland wins over Texas State and Texas A&M Corpus Christi, while Maine defeated Northwestern State.

Boston U. 77, vs. Dayton 74
(Blue Sky Restaurant Group Classic | Hanover, N.H.)
Katie Meinhardt scored a game-high 24 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to lead the Terriers to a 77-74 victory over A-10 foe Dayton in the opening round of the Blue Sky Classic... Aly Hinton netted 13 points, while Erica Kovach tallied 12 and Kristi Dini added 11 points... Meinhardt also registered seven rebounds and six assists.
Vermont 55, vs. Northeastern 47
(Hawk Classic | Philadelphia, Pa.)
Vermont used a strong second half effort to erase a six-point halftime deficit and earn a 55-47 victory over Northeastern in the consolation game of the Hawk Classic... Courtnay Pilypaitis led three players in double-figures with 12 points. She added 12 rebounds to post her first career double-double. May Kotsopoulos finished with 12 points and seven boards, while Amy Rosenkrantz chipped in 12 points.
Maine 79, vs. Northwestern State 63
(The Cavalier Classic | Charlottesville, Va.)
Ashley Underwood scored a season-high 23 points to lead three Black Bears in double figures to lift Maine to a 79-63 win over Northwestern State in the consolation game of the Cavalier Classic... Lindsey Hugstad-Vaa netted a career-high 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting, while Katie Whittier notched a double-double with season highs in points (17) and rebounds (12).
New Hampshire 63, vs. Winston-Salem St. 55
(Lady Luck Classic | Blacksburg, Va.)
Candace Williams and Danielle Flowers each scored 13 points to lead the Wildcats to a 63-55 victory over Winston Salem in the consolation round of the Lady Luck Classic... Flowers was named to the all-tournament squad.
UMBC 66, vs. Texas State 51
(Battle at the Border | Edinburg, Texas)
Kristin Drabyn connected on six three-pointers to lift the Retrievers to a 66-51 victory over Texas State at the University of Texas-Pan American Battle at the Border Holiday Tournament... Drabyn scored 20 points, setting a new career high... She shot 6-for-10 from the floor and went 2-for-2 at the charity stripe.
at No. 5 Connecticut 62, Hartford 36 (CPTV)
(Hartford Civic Center | Hartford, Conn.)
Fifth-ranked Connecticut was too much for Hartford to handle as they handed the Hawks a 62-36 loss in front of 14,442 at the Hartford Civic Center... The Hawks were led by Lisa Etienne who finished the game with 12 points and four rebounds. The other leading scorers for the Hawks were Katie Kelley with nine and Danielle Hood with eight.

Albany 58, at Sam Houston State 48
Sherri Mikus scored 14 points to lead three Great Danes in double figures as Albany won its second-straight 58-48 at Sam Houston State... The Danes jumped out to a 36-17 halftime lead powered by 51.6 shooting from the field and cruised to the double-digit victory... Amanda Ward netted 11 points for Albany, while Kristin Higy had 10 points and nine rebounds.
UMBC 66, vs.Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 43 (Edinburg, Texas)
Kristin Drabyn scored a game-high 18 points to lead three Retrievers in double-figures as UMBC earned a 66-43 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi... Sharri Rohde posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Brittnie Hughes had 13 points and eight assists.
Detroit 54, vs. New Hampshire 50 (Blacksburg, Va.)
Danielle Clark led the Wildcats with 16 points and seven rebounds, but it was not enough as Detroit on for the 54-50 win in the first round of the Lady Luck Classic... In addition to the 16 points by Clark, Danielle Flowers and Whitney Edwards each scored nine points.
at Virginia 86, Maine 66 (Charlottesville, Va.)
Lindsey Hugstad-Vaa and Kris Younan each netted a dozen points to lead four Black Bears in double figures, but Virginia won in convincing style 86-66 in the opening round of the Cavalier Classic.
South Florida 77, vs. Vermont 62 (Philadelphia, Pa.)
The Catamounts trailed by two at the half, but a 31.3 percent shooting performance in the second half allowed South Florida to pull away with the 77-62 win in the opening round of the Hawk Classic... Courtnay Pilypaitis scored a team-high 12 points and has four steals.
at Sacred Heart 77, Stony Brook 65
Jessica Smith and Mykeema Ford combined to score 35 points netting 19 and 16, respectively, but Sacred Heart captured the 77-65 win... Smith added nine rebounds and five steals, while Ford handed out three assists.
