The Catamounts take on their third former America East member this season as they head to Delaware... UVM is 1-14 all-time at the Carpenter Center with its only win coming over New Hampshire in an opening round game of the 2001 America East Men's Basketball Championship... The Blue Hens lost to Albany earlier this season at SEFCU Arena.
Long Beach State at UMBC, 4 p.m.
The Retrievers look to get back on the winning track as they host Long Beach State... UMBC has an average attendance of 2,632 through its first two home games of the 2006-07 season... The Retrievers' Brian Hodges is averaging 24.3 ppg over the last three contests.

Boston U. 74, at St. Bonaventure 46
The Terriers shot 60.0 percent from the field and connected on 10-of-17 three-pointers (58.8 percent) to cruise to a 28-point victory over the Bonnies... Redshirt freshman Tyler Morris poured in a game-high 19 points with 5-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc to pace Boston U... Reigning America East Rookie of the Week Corey Lowe was the catalyst of the Terrier offense with 17 points and eight assists.
at Siena 76, Albany 75 (2OT)
The Saints captured the Albany Cup in a dramatic double-overtime affair in front of 11,271 at the Pepsi Arena... Jamar Wilson, who scored a team-high 19 points with a career-high 11 rebounds, nearly sank a game-winning 25-foot jumper at the end of the second overtime... The Saints have won five of the last six meetings since the series was renewed after a 24-year hiatus in 2001... Kenny Hasbrouck paced Siena with a game-high 22 points.
Rider 79, at Binghamton 65
The Bearcats dropped back-to-back outings for the first time this season... Binghamton was led by Duane James’ 16 points, while Mike Gordon and Lazar Trifunic also scored in double-figures... The Bearcats forced 22 turnovers, but the Broncs dominated the glass, 45-32... Rider is 5-2 on the season with victories over current America East members Binghamton and Boston University and former league members Delaware, Drexel and Northeastern.
at Long Island 70, New Hampshire 62 (OT)
The Wildcats lost consecutive overtime games and have now lost three overtime outings on the season... The Blackbirds outrebounded UNH 43-36 and attempted 22 more free throws than the Wildcats... Preseason all-conference pick Blagoj Janev was reinserted into the UNH starting lineup and responded with 18 points and seven rebounds... Jermaine Anderson and Mike Christensen scored 13 points apiece... New Hampshire was outscored 9-1 in the overtime period.
Friday, December 1
Maine 68, at New Jersey Tech 58
The Black Bears won their second-straight outing to get back to .500 on the season... Jon Sheets knocked down four threes, enroute to a team-high 19 points, to lead Maine to the win... Junior Bernal and Mark Socoby also netted double-figures in the scoring column with 11 a piece... New Jersey tech was just 6-for-29 from three in the losing effort.
at Towson 67, Vermont 54
Freshman Joe trapani continued to lead the Catamounts in scoring, netting a team-high 15 points, but the tigers were too much... Gary Neal dropped in 29 to pace towson, a former America East member... Mike trimboli and Kyle Cieplicki scored 11 points apiece to chip in for Vermont.
at St. John's 78, UMBC 57
The Retrievers shot just 36.8 percent from the floor and 12-for-22 from the line (54.5 percent) in the losing effort... Brian Hodges came off the bench to pace UMBC with 19 points... Jay Greene chipped in with seven points and a seven assists for the Retrievers.
Thursday, November 30
at Hartford 64, Long Island 49
The Hawks used a stellar defensive performance to extend their league-best win streak to three games and get back to .500 on the season... Hartford forced 24 Long Island turnovers and limited LIU to just 34.6 percent shooting from the floor... Freshman Joe Zeglinski led the Hawks with 18 points and six rebounds, while teammate Jaret Von Roseberg also netted double-figures with 10 points of his own... Long Island is now 1-1 on the season versus America East foes as it defeated Binghamton earlier this season, 73-59... LIU next hosts New Hampshire on Saturday and also heads to Binghamton on December 15 to complete the rare in-season non-conference home-and-home series.
Villanova 72, at Stony Brook 44
Hot-shooting and a dominant performance on the boards helped lead the Wildcats to a 28-point victory in front of a soldout crowd of 4,285 at the SBU Sports Complex... 'Nova connected on 6-of-12 three-point attempts in the first half to take a commanding 42-18 lead to the break... The Wildcats outrebounded Stony Brook 44-27 as they held the Seawolves to their lowest offensive output on the season... Mitchell Beauford had his conference-best nine-game double-digit scoring streak snapped as the preseason all-conference pick was held to just eight points on 4-of-11 shooting... No Stony Brook player tallied double-figures in the scoring column... The contest marked a homecoming of sorts for Villanova head coach Jay Wright, as it was his first trip back to Long Island since leaving Hofstra, a former America East member, after the 2000-01 season... While at the helm of the Pride, Wright captured two America East titles and two America East Coach of the Year honors, while making an appearance in the NIT and two trips to the NCAA Tournament.
Wednesday, November 29
Maine 68, at Mount St. Mary's 65
The Black Bears improve to 3-4 on the season and have now won three of their last four outings... Jon Sheets knocked down 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, enroute to a game-high 19 points, to pace four Maine players in double figures... Junior Bernal (16 points), Kevin Reed (11) and Chris Bruff (10) also eclipsed the double-digit plateau for the Black Bears... Maine had more turnovers (18-12) and was outrebounded (32-33), but the Black Bears held The Mount to 37.5 percent shooting, compared to 52.3 percent for themselves... Binghamton also defeated Mount St. Mary's earlier this season, 66-59.
Harvard 83, at New Hampshire 81 (OT)
The Wildcats fell to 1-5 on the season as they lost a back-and-forth affair to the Crimson that featured 13 ties and 12 lead changes... Jermaine Anderson poured in a game-high 28 points with nine assists to lead UNH... Tyrece Gibbs also recorded his first career double-double for the Wildcats with 10 points and 10 rebounds... Preseason all-conference selection Blagoj Janev was plagued by foul trouble, scoring just four points in 11 minutes of action... The Crimson improved to 2-1 versus America East teams this season with wins over UNH and Maine and a loss to Boston U... Harvard also hosts Albany on December 12.
Tuesday, November 28
Hartford 63, at Cornell 61
The Hawks have put together back-to-back wins for the first time during the 2006-07 campaign under first-year head coach Dan Leibovitz... Freshman guard Joe Zeglinski led Hartford with 18 points and five rebounds, while Bo Taylor chipped in with 15 points and eight boards... Cornell is now 1-2 versus America East opponents on the season as the Big Red have lost to Hartford and Binghamton with a victory over Stony Brook.
UMES 64, at Stony Brook 58
The Seawolves dropped game one of their three-game homestand, which also features Villanova (Nov. 30) and Hofstra (Dec. 5)... Mike Popoko lead Stony Brook with 13 points, while Mitchell Beauford (11 points) and Brandon Hickson (10) also netted double-figures... The Seawolves dominated the glass, 41-30, but 17 turnovers and just 39.0 percent shooting proved to be too costly... SBU's Ricky Lucas did not play due to a sprained ankle.
Monday, November 27
UMBC 86, at Morgan State 72
Brian Hodges came off the bench to score a career-high 36 points in just 27 minutes played to lead the Retrievers to victory... UMBC evened its record at 3-3 as the Retrievers have now won three of their last four outings... On the back of Hodges, UMBC fought back from a nine-point deficit to earn its second non-conference road win of the season... The Retrievers won just one non-conference road game all of last season... Hodges’ 36 points marks the third-most prolific scoring game in UMBC’s 21-year Division I history... Hodges’ performance is the most since Derell Thompson scored a school-record 43 at Towson on February 15, 1992.
at Colgate 78, Binghamton 70
The Bearcats had their conference-best three-game win streak snapped by the Raiders... Binghamton led 41-37 four minutes into the second half before Colgate’s Jon Simon, who scored a game-high 23 points, reeled off nine-straight to give the Raiders the lead for good... Richard Forbes scored a team-high 19 points with six rebounds to pace the Bearcats... Colgate shot 54.0 percent from the field, compared to Binghamton’s 37.9 percent... Duane James (18 points) and Mike Gordon (13 points) also netted double-figures for the Bearcats.
at St. Joseph’s 55, Boston U. 39
The Terriers led by one, 26-25, at the half, but the Hawks held Boston to just 13 second-half points on 2-of-20 shooting to come away with the win... Corey Lowe netted 11 points to lead the Terrers as the only player to net double-figures... The Red Storm scored 29 points off Boston’s 26 turnovers... In a first half where neither team led by more than four points, the Terriers scored six of the final seven points before the break to take a slim 26-25 halftime lead... Ahmad Nivins led St. John’s with a game-high 12 points.
