The University of Maine men's and women's indoor track and field teams opened the season on Saturday with a meet at New Hampshire. The Maine men were defeated 92-81, while the women lost 94-80. The Black Bears were led by freshman Allyson Howatt and sophomore Andrew Horner, who each won two individual events.
