Vermont vs. #22 Boston College, 2 p.m.
(URI Invitational | Kingston, R.I.)
After a convincing win over Rhode Island, the Catamounts look to remain perfect in tournament play and win their second title in as many weeks... They square off against 22nd-ranked Boston College, coached by former Vermont head coach Cathy Inglese... Inglese was at Vermont from 1986-1993 before moving onto the Eagles... Boston College earned a 67-57 victory over Central Connecticut to advance to the URI Invitational Championship game.
Liberty at Binghamton, 1 p.m.
The Bearcats return home to face Big South foe Liberty. This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools... Last year, the Flames won the Big South with a 13-1 record in conference play, 25-6 overall, and made it to the NCAA tournament.
Clemson at Maine, 6 p.m.
(Dead River Company Classic | Orono, Maine)
The Black Bears will play Clemson in the championship round of the Dead River Company Classic... Maine returns to the title game for the first time since 2004, when the Black Bears defeated Saint Joseph’s, Pa., 54-36, to claim the tournament title... Maine was also crowned champions of the tournament in 1995 when it knocked Villanova 70-61.

Friday, November 24
Vermont 75, at Rhode Island 52
(URI Invitational | Kingston, R.I.)
Brittney Cross scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting to lead three Vermont players in double figures as UVM earned a convincing, 75-52, win over Rhode Island in the opening round of the URI Invitational... With the victory, the Catamounts have advanced to the championship game in eight of the last nine in-season tournaments under head coach Sharon Dawley, including back-to-back championship games in 2006-07.
at Manhattan 61, Hartford 57
Manhattan handed Hartford its second loss of the young season earning a 61-57 win in a hard-fought, back-and-forth contest... The Hawks jumped out to an early 13-4 lead, but the Jaspers battled back to tie it... In the second half, Manhattan built and early lead, which Hartford made disappear, but in the end it was not enough... Ikea Wood scored a team-high 15 points for the Hawks.
at Maine 62, Brown 51
(Dead River Classic | Orono, Maine)
The Black Bears are off to their best start since 1997-98 as they improved to 3-1 with a 62-51 win over Brown in the opening round of the Dead River Company Classic... Maine will play Clemson in the tournament championship... Clemson won its opening round game, 95-88, over St. John’s... Bracey Barker scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Maine.
Wednesday, November 23
at Binghamton 53, Fairleigh Dickinson 49
The Bearcats improved to .500 with a 53-49 win over NEC foe Fairleigh Dickinson... Junior forward Brianna Thompson recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, while Laura Sario added a team-high 16 points... Binghamton’s defense had 12 steals and held the Knights to just 27 percent shooting from the floor.
at Army 54, New Hampshire 51
Defending Patriot League champion Army downed the visiting Wildcats 54-51... Army’s Cara Enright buried a three-pointer from the right wing as time expired to break a 51-51 deadlock... Danielle Clark netted a team-high 14 points including a three-pointer with eight second left that tied the game at the time.
Tueday, November 21
Boston U. 93, at Northeastern 79
The Terriers remained perfect in the early going with a 93-79 win over crosstown foe Northeastern... Katie Meinhardt scored a game-high 26 points on 7-of-11 shooting, while Erica Kovach posted a double double with 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Towson 50, at UMBC 45 (MASN)
The Retrievers held a 45-44 lead with just over a minute to play, but were outscored 6-0 in the final minute falling to Towson 50-45... Sharri Rohde scored 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the losing effort.
at Virginia Commonwealth 67, Albany 55
Virginia Commonwealth, first-place in the CAA, built a 20-point first-half lead against Albany, but the Danes fought back coming up short in a 67-55 loss to VCU... Albany outscored the Rams 36-28 in the second half... Britney McGee had a team-high 15 points and five steals for the Great Danes.
