BU men's swimming and diving captures Bucknell Trial/Finals Invitational Meet

The Binghamton men's swimming and diving team continued its weekend dominance, capturing the Bucknell Trial/Finals Invitational on Sunday at the Arthur D. Kinney Jr. Natatorium. The Bearcats amassed 836 points to hold off host Bucknell, which finished second in the five-team meet with 816 points.

The Boston University diving team competed at the Harvard Invitational on Sunday. Brian Lawler took top honors in the 1- and 3-meter diving events, while Alex Crerar was was victorious in the women's 3-meter and placed second in the 1-meter.

Three UMBC Team Records Fall on First Day of George Mason Patriot Invitational; Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Teams in First Place

The UMBC men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are both in first place after the first day of competition at the George Mason Patriot Invitational. The men have a total of 305 points, 100 points ahead of second place UNC-Wilmington (205), while the women have totaled 241 points, just seven points ahead of Duke (234).

UMBC Swimming and Diving Teams Maintain Lead on Day Two of George Mason Patriot Invitational

The UMBC men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams maintained their leads on the second day of competition at the George Mason Patriot Invitational. The Retriever men have opened up a commanding lead with 694.5 points to second-place UNC-Wilmington’s 422, while the women hold a 511-495 lead over second-place Duke.

UMBC Swimming and Diving Teams Win Patriot Invitational

The UMBC men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams both won the George Mason Patriot Invitational this weekend. The men dominated the meet, scoring 1,037 points and defeating second-place UNC-Wilmington by 411.5 points. The women’s meet came down to the last event, the 400-free relay, which the Retrievers won for the 772-753 victory over runner-up Duke.

The Stony Brook men's swimming and diving team had an exceptional meet as the Seawolves swept Iona and St. Francis (NY) on Thursday night at St. Francis, 57-47 and 85-18, respectively. Stony Brook is now 3-2 on the season.

Freshmen Rebecca Sayles and Brittany Whipple continued their strong starts and a combined team effort helped the Stony Brook women's swimming and diving team to a sweep of Iona and St. Francis 63-41 and 85-18, respectively. The women's team is now 2-3 on the season.

Vermont Swimming and Diving Improves to 6-2 With Win Over Maine

The Vermont women’s swimming and diving team pulled out a two-point victory over visiting Maine, 151-149 on Saturday afternoon. The win marked the first for UVM over Maine since 1993 and is the Catamounts second victory over an America East opponent this season.
