Coming off an impressive victory at Penn State, the Seawolves open the home portion of their 2006-07 slate versus Navy... Mitchell Beauford (21.7 ppg) and Ricky Lucas (20.0 ppg) lead Stony Brook as the duo ranks second and third, respectively, in America East scoring.

Maine 79, at St. Francis (N.Y.) 60
Kevin Reed, who received a medical redshirt last season, proved that he is back to his old self as he drained 8-of-11 three-pointers enroute to a game-high 30 points and nine rebounds... Junior Bernal, Philippe Tchekane Bofia and Jon Sheets all netted 11 points apiece to help lead the Black Bears to their first victory of the 2006-07 campaign.
UMBC 56, at Hampton 49
Chris Pugh recorded the game's only double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) to lead UMBC to its first win of the season... Jay Greene also chipped in with 11 points for the Retrievers.
Central Connecticut State 73, at New Hampshire 66
In his first game played of the season, Jermaine Anderson was injected into the starting lineup for the Wildcats and scored a team-high 18 points... Preseason all-conference pick Blagoj Janev came off the bench to add 13 points and six rebounds in 21 minutes of action... UNH was outrebounded 36-20 enroute to its third loss of the season.
Rider 66, at Boston U. 60
Boston U.'s freshmen trio of Carlos Strong, Tyler Morris and Corey Lowe entered the contest averaging 42.0 ppg on 48.4 percent shooting from the field, but the threesome combined for 28 points on just 31.3 percent shooting (10-for-32) in the loss... The game marked the Terriers first contest of the season at Case Gymnasium.
at Army 62, Hartford 53
Hartford shot just 34.0 percent from the field as the Hawks fell to 0-3 on the early season... Alex Zimnickas scored a team-high 16 points to lead Hartford.
Drexel 59, at Vermont 46
Former America East member Drexel invaded Patrick Gymnasium for the Catamounts home opener and came away with a 13-point victory... The Dragons, who were picked to finish third in the Colonial Athletic Association's preseason coaches' poll, held UVM to just 24.5 percent shooting from the field and forced the Catamounts into 20 turnovers... Freshman Joe Trapani led UVM with a game-high 13 points and nine rebounds.
