TUESDAY'S RESULTS
Boston U. 78, at Harvard 74The Terriers calmly drained seven-of-eight free throws in the final 30 seconds of action to secure their first victory of the 2006-07 campaign... Boston University was led by a trio of freshmen as Tyler Morris (22 points), Corey Lowe (14) and Carlos Strong (13) all scored in double figures... The Terriers assisted on 20 of 27 field goals and forced 20 Crimson turnovers.
Loyola (Md.) 69, at UMBC 56UMBC shot 32.8 percent from the field as the Retrievers fell to cross-town rival Loyola (Md.)... The seventh-largest crowd in school history (3,052) was on-hand to witness the home opener for UMBC... Mike Housman led the Retrievers with 16 points on seven-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds... UMBC's starting three-guard rotation of Jay Greene (3-of-8), Brian Hodges (1-of-9) and Chris Pugh (1-10) combined to connect on just five of 27 field goal attempts.
Maine vs. Idaho State

Freshman Mark Socoby shot 8-of-10 from the field, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, to net a game-high 24 points in the loss for the Black Bears... Maine is off to an 0-3 start for the first time since the 2001-02 season when it dropped its first six contests.
