Hartford's Sara Flowers (Santee, Calif./Santana/Cal Poly Pomona) earns America East Player of the Week honors, while Vermont's Carson Laderoute (Rutland, Vt./Rutland) has garnered America East Rookie of the Week accolades for the first time this season in women's soccer. The awards were announced on Monday (October 23).

Flowers helped the Hawks to the America East regular season title registering a goal and two assists during the week. She had a pair of assists in a 2-0 win over Binghamton on Thursday night and followed that up with the game's lone game in a 1-0 win over Boston U. on Sunday. The win helped Hartford secure the top seed in the America East Women's Soccer Championship.

Laderoute, the freshman forward, scored the game-winning goal just 32 seconds into overtime in the Catamounts' 1-0 win over Stony Brook on Sunday. The goal, her second overtime game-winner of the year, put Vermont in the America East Championship.
