University of New Hampshire's Jordan Horowitz (Evanston, Ill.) and Catherine Parker (Westford, Mass.) have been named the America East Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Performers of the Week, respectively. The awards were announced Tuesday (October 17).
Horowitz raced to a third place finish at the 40th Annual Albany Invitational on Saturday. The junior co-captain led his team to the title with a time of 24:49. The Wildcats posted 65 points, which was 46 points less then second place Connecticut.
This past weekend, the junior captured the 40th Annual Albany Invitational individual title with a time of 17:14. She won the race by 22 seconds, beating out 195 other runners. Parker led the Wildcats to a second-place finish with 72 points, just 11 behind meet-winner Guelph University.
