University of New Hampshire’s Brian Levey (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) has been named America East Player of the Week, while Vermont’s Lee Stephane Kouadio (Woodlyn, Pa./Ridley) and New Hampshire’s Mike McKee (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) share Rookie of the Week honors. The awards were announced Monday (September 19).

Levey continues to be a stalwart in net for the Wildcats, giving up only one goal while making six saves as UNH defeated Furman and Coastal Carolina to win the Harvard Soccer Invitational. For his performance over the weekend, Levey was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament. College Soccer News named Levey as the goalkeeper of the National Team of the Week. Even though he saw his shutout streak end at just over 550 minutes against Furman, Levey held off both teams in the second half to preserve UNH's six-match unbeaten streak. Levey made a spectacular save on a one-timer off a corner kick late in the match against Coastal Carolina to maintain his fifth shutout of the season, one off the UNH single-season record.

Kouadio continues to be a scoring threat for the Catamounts. He scored a goal in both games at the Vanderbilt Puma Classic this past weekend, against Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky. He was named to the all-tournament team for his efforts. Kouadio has scored team-high six goals on the season including four in the last three games.

McKee scored the only goal against Coastal Carolina to help UNH win the Harvard Soccer Invitational. McKee converted on his third shot of the season off a corner kick with less than a minute remaining in the first half. It turned out to be the game-winning goal as the Wildcats, with help from McKee, held off Coastal Carolina's second-half attack to gain the 1-0 victory and extend their unbeaten streak to six matches. For his performance over the weekend, McKee was named to the All-Tournament Team.
