Lewis, Sheridan, Levendusky Earn Honors

Lindsay Lewis (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) and Anne Sheridan (Baltimore, Md./Roland Park) of Boston U. were named America Player and Defender of the Week, respectively. Ali Levendusky (Baldwin, Md./John Carroll) of UMBC was named America East Rookie of the Week. All three awards were announced Monday (March 28).

Lewis scored five goals- including the game-winner with 47 seconds remaining in the second overtime- to give Boston U. an 11-10 victory over Geroge Mason. She Also had three caused turnovers, two ground balls, and one draw control against the Patriots. Lewis contributed one goal and two caused turnovers in Boston U.'s 6-4 loss to Yale earlier in the week.

Sheridan collected nine saves in Boston U.'s 11-10 double-overtime victory over George Mason. She mad a game-high 11 saves while allowing just six goals to Yale. On the season, she leads the America East in goals against average (7.70 GAA) and save percentage (.573).

Levendusky scored three goals against Oregon. She scored back-to-back goals with five minutes left in the game to UMBC a 14-9 lead.
