Boston University’s Roland Erlichman (Paradise Valley, Ariz./Chaparral) and Stony Brook University's Michael Palacio (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach) share this week’s America East Player of the Week award, while Vermont’s Tom Critz (Enfield, Conn./Loomis-Chaffee) garners the Rookie of Week honor. The awards were announced Monday (October 17).

Erlichman, a sophomore forward for Boston U., scored the second goal in the Terriers’ 3-0 win over Harvard. He also tallied the unassisted game-tying goal on a direct kick in the 65th minute through the goalkeeper's arms to force overtime at Hartford.

Palacio, a sophomore at Stony Brook, was key once again for the Seawolves in their 2-1 victory over Albany on Saturday night. He tallied his team-leading sixth goal of the season, the game-winner, and added an assist to help Stony Brook snap a five-game winless streak against the Great Danes and, more importantly, move into sole possession of first place in America East.

Critz recorded a pair of shutouts last week as Vermont went 1-0-1. He made three saves in 0-0 double overtime tie at Dartmouth in a battle of two of New England’s top teams and made a season-high seven saves in 1-0 shutout at Maine. He has backboned the UVM defense with shutouts in three straight games and with four in the last five.
