Stony Brook junior forward Victoria Feliciano and Adriana Gonzalez-Medina of New Hampshire were named Player and Rookie of the Week by America East on Monday, September 27.
Feliciano (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) was named MVP after leading the Seawolves to the championship of the Holtsville Residence Inn by Marriott Invitational. Feliciano scored three goals in a 5-0 win over Howard and added a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Fairfield.
Gonzalez-Medina (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge) scored game-winners vs. both Providence and Rhode Island as the Wildcats enjoyed a 2-0 week. Her first collegiate goal broke a 2-2 tie in a 4-2 win over Providence. She scored the lone goal of the game in the 84th minute vs. Rhode Island.
